Gallery of innovative materials and solutions for walls
and cladding systems in architecture
VERTICALIA, the feature event of SAIEDUE LIVING has
taken in Bologna from 16 to 20 March 2005 in the exhibition
hall 35, will offer a suggestive and comprehensive panorama
of the newest frontiers in building exterior and interior
cladding systems.
The show will explore innovative materials and technologies
capable of endowing vertical surfaces and their openings
with new technological functions, unique decorative
effects and ultimate performance standards.

The new walls become containers of technology and
objects, stimulate emotions by changing colour, separate
and then vanish from sight thanks to the latest generation
of automated systems, communicate by flashing millions
of pixels and delivering thousands of megabytes of data,
provide access through doors of superior design or unusual,
surprising openings.
Walls become a distinctive element of interior decoration
with claddings and finishes that experiment with different
uses of colour and textures combined with insulation,
lighting, heating and refrigeration technologies.
